What to Do

I love travelling, learning about different cultures, embracing new traditions and most important trying authentic food.  I do a lot of research for my travels so I decided I would share to save everyone some time.  I find there is always information overload when I do my research so hopefully this makes it simple for everyone. I know that not everyone is a planner but that's no reason not to travel and explore the world. Enjoy!

What to Eat

I'm a huge fan of delicious, tasty and authentic food. I've had the luxury of growing up with the best food in the world.  My mom was a homemaker and an excellent cook.  She made everything from scratch and she was one of those moms that everyone wanted to get an invite to dinner.  Just wanted to share with everyone some of my favourite meals from around the world.

Tokyo, Japan

Travel Tips

Getting from Narita to Tokyo
Take the bus (Airport Limousine ($40 CAD/each) - very efficient, there's a bus every 5 minutes
Take the train/metro
A cab ride can range anywhere from $100 to $200 depending on the traffic.

Travelling in Tokyo
The Tokyo subway metro system is one of the best in the world. There is a ticket that allows for unlimited use in a day for about $10 CAD. There is a cheaper subway ticket/pass (24/48/72 hour) option for visitors, you will need your passport to purchase it; you can buy it from concierge at your hotel or at metro pass offices.  Keep in mind there is no talking on cell phones on the subway. Avoid travelling during rush hour, there are men with white gloves to push you onto the subway, there are usually some cars that are just for women.

Escalators
Stand to the left side if you're not walking up or down the escalator

Tipping
No tax and tip in Japan.

Where to Stay
We prefer to stay in Shinjuku; it’s easy to get around since the metro is right by these hotels.

This will download the maps on to your phone and will point you in the direction of attractions and restaurants.
Cash - Euros
We found that quite a few of the smaller mom and pop places only take cash.   You can definitely get cash while you are there, keep in mind it will be difficult to find a bank machine in less busy areas. Berlin, Germany

We flew from Paris to Berlin.  The local airline was very specific about having only one piece of carry-on; make sure your purse fits into your carry-on, they will not let you on the plane with more than one piece of carry-on.

Paris, France

We took the express train from London to Paris on the Eurostar. I cannot emphasize enough that paying for the seat is worth it. We saw a grandma with a child bumped from several seats because they didn't reserve the seat. We bought our tickets online ahead of time so it was much cheaper than buying it at the station.
Paris was lovely but we were there during a heat wave (38 degrees celcius); we were not able to see everything we wanted to see.  We can't wait to go back and visit again.

London, United Kingdom

Transportation from Airport to Hotel
We had a large group so it made sense for us to book a shuttle.  The price of the private shuttle was 70 pounds for 6 people and they pick you up directly at the arrival gate.  To take the train; it required two types of train to arrive at our hotel and the cost was about 17 pounds each.  Since we had our parents, we didn't want to make them do the trek with their luggage. I believe you have to take the Heathrow Express train before switching to the local metro.
Where to Stay?
The hotels are extremely pricey in London. Someone had recommended the Park Plaza hotels and compared to the others, it was more reasonable than the other chains. We picked Park  Plaza London Waterloo.  It's across the water by the Big Ben.  It was the newest hotel of the chain in London so the room was very nice and was very contemporary. The metro station is across the street so it was pretty easy to get to.  There's not as much night life around the area though; you'll have to walk a bit closer to the river.
Things to Do
St. James Park
Buckingham Palace
Palace of Westminster
Westminster Abbey
Big Ben

Piccadilly Circus
Trafalgar Square
St. Paul's Cathedral

Harry Potter Fan's - King's Cross Station - Platform 9-3/4 - if you are travelling from London on the train - you will most likely be travelling out of this train station. The line up for the picture was pretty long and the store is super busy.
Tower of London
Columbia Road Flower Market - Sundays 8am to 3pm
London Bridge
Covent Garden
Camden Market

What to Eat?
Afternoon Tea - We tried Savoy - it was a beautiful venue and the meal was very rich which it usually is.  The sandwiches are unlimited so don't worry if you have a big appetite
Burger & Lobster
Duck & Waffle - View, 24 hours
Dishoom - Indian food

Belgo Holborn - great beer and mussels selection
Shake Shack - best burger and cheese fries
Hakkasan - delicious dim sum, chinese dishes and cocktails
Churchill Arms - Cute British pub that serves thai food
Lower Marsh Market
Dishes: Fish & Chips, Stocky Toffee Pudding, pies

Spain

Spain was always at the top of my list of places to visit in the world.  I found Madrid a more formal version of Barcelona.  There were more government buildings and even the tone of the city was more formal. I didn't know anything about the Basilica and I had talked to people and they recommend reading up about it before visiting. I'm so glad I did because it made us appreciate the church visit so much more.  Barcelona reminded me of a more relaxed Madrid.  Barcelona is a great walking city and it was great to be able to explore and it felt safe our entire visit. We knew to watch our bags when we were in more touristy spots.  Everyone that we met was very friendly in Spain and we always felt welcome wherever we went.  The one thing I always forget about when I visit Europe is the difference in eating times.  Most food places are closed from around 2 to 6 pm for a siesta and everyone usually eats a lot later for dinner.  We got caught this one day in Barcelona; we were starving and most things we closed but with the help of Tripadvisor I was able to find a little cafe that was open.  Your best bet is to eat when everyone else eats so this doesn't happen to you.
Madrid
What to Do
Royal Palace de Madrid
Templo de Debod - this was very interesting. Make sure to go inside and look around. I don't recall it costing it anything.

Lisbon, Portugal

We decided to take my in-laws to Portugal and Spain for their 60th birthday with my brother-in-law.  After months of planning and anticipation, the trip is finally here.  We flew with KLM and after 16 hours of painful travel we finally made it.   We wanted to ease the parents into the trip so we took them out to a Portugese seafood dinner at Cervejaria Ramino the first night.  It was a very tasty dinner and everything we tried was tasty.  Lisbon was a very beautiful city and we really enjoyed Portugal for the friendly people, beautiful landscape, fantastic coffee and delicious food.  We will definitely return to Portugal to visit the Southern parts.
Travel Tips
TRAM 28: Ride the Tram 28 in Lisbon that takes you through all the famous tourist spots. But careful! It’s known for its pickpockets as well.
Sunday is a bad restaurant day. Everything is closed so make sure to plan accordingly or you'll be walking around looking for something that's open.
Tipping: It’s not customary, but it’s a good gesture. 5-10% of the bill is good enough.

We learned that Budapest was a construct of a merger of two cities back in Budapest is a relatively recent construct -- the result of an 1873 merger between two distinct cities: Buda on the western bank of the Danube and Pest on the bank opposite.

Vienna, Austria

I've always wanted to visit Austria because of my love for "The Sound of Music." Austria has now become one of my favourite places in the world.  Its a very vibrant city and the people were very helpful and kind.  I want to return and visit Salzburg one day.
What to Do
State Opera House
Imperial Palace (Hofburg) - We did the tour and we quite enjoyed it.
Schoenbrunn Palace & Gardens - MUST SEE - The pictures do not do this place justice. The summer palace is unbelievable. If you are a runner; you should do the run here. We went on a day it was pouring and there were still a bun of people running through the palace grounds. I guess they are true "runners."
St. Stephen's Cathedral
Swarovski Store - It is beautiful and it has three floors.  If you love the crystals; you will be mesmerized by this store. They had a lot of collector type items as well if this is your thing.
What to Eat

Cafe Sacher Vienna - Sacher Torte

Bali, Indonesia

Travel Tips
Traffic – The roads here were very congested; starting earlier in the day wasn't as bad. The travel time that Google maps indicates; I found it usually took at least 1.5 half times longer to get anywhere.  If you have somewhere you need to be (i.e. wedding); you should anticipate double the travel time.
Taxi – The taxis are very reasonable. The meters start at 70,000 rupiah ($0.70 CAD).  A 20-minute taxi ride is under $5 CAD. During our visit, we found that the “Blue Bird Group’ was the legitimate taxi cab company; the best way to identify the taxi company is the name of the company is on the front windshield, there are a lot of cab companies that look similar.  The other cab companies typically took the longer route, didn’t turn on the meters, or negotiate the fare (which was always higher than the metered rate).
Personal driver – There isn’t really a good public transportation system in place in Bali.  If you are anticipating using a car for most of the day or going far distances, it makes sense to get a personal driver.   We booked one for our entire trip – the daily rate was approximately $50 - $70CAD, which included 10 hours and fuel.
Service  - Bali has a very laid back feel and the service reflects this.  We found that everywhere we went; the service was extremely slow and it was consistent through all industries.  Most restaurant visits took at least 1.5 hours.
Accommodations – – We stayed in Seminyak and we found the location very convenient.  It was close to restaurants and pretty central.  Hotels versus Villa – We stayed in a cheaper hotel since we knew we wouldn’t be spending anytime at our hotel other than sleeping.  There are a lot of villas but we chose to stay in a hotel so that we wouldn’t have to deal with any bugs.  We stayed at Harris Hotel Seminyak; the hotel was clean and in a good location.  It’s a family friendly resort and for approximately $50CAD a night; we had no complaints.
Cash – I would recommend either bringing rupiahs or exchange when you get here.  You should probably try exchanging your money at the airport because everything is quite sprawled so it might be difficult to find a close place to exchange.  We had exchanged at home and brought the money with us; it just made it easier to travel.  We found that majority of places were cash only.
What to Do
Ubud Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary – This was worth the trip.  Some tips to keep in mind before visiting; the monkeys are wild so do take some precautions.  There are vendors that sell bananas to feed the monkeys – keep in mind they will do everything they can to get these bananas from you (i.e. jump on you, grab them from your bags).  You may have to Jumanji it out of there.  Do not touch the monkeys; if they feel aggression; they will bite and they are known to have rabies.  No water bottles/jewelry/loose items like sunglasses.   We got there at 8:30am when it opened and we found it very peaceful since it wasn’t busy yet (and you get to skip the traffic).  Admission is 30,000 rupiah.
Ubud Market (Pasar Umum Ubud) – This was the best market we went to in Bali.  The market was organized and pretty clean (when comparing markets). The vendors were nice and bargaining was pretty reasonable.  Keep in mind; this is a tourist market so it will not be the cheapest prices.   I noticed that some of the clothing and items that were at this market; were not at other markets in Bali.  If you like something here, you’re better off purchasing it here rather than hoping to run into it again at another market.
Tegalalang Rice Terrace - We didn’t have enough time to get in a full rice paddy tour.  The commute time and tours pretty much make it a full day activity.  Do try to book ahead if you can to ensure you get a spot on the tours.  We went to Tegalalang Rice Terrace instead and were able to take pictures of the rice paddies. Bring lots of bug spray – there is usually a ton of mosquitoes.
Tanan Lot – This is floating temple. This was a pretty neat place so give yourself some extra time to walk around and check out the temples and the market vendors.  There was a shop there that had a lot of souvenirs for a fixed price that was very reasonable.
Seminyak Square – I personally found it overrated but what I did enjoy was all of the boutique shops around it.   There are also some market vendors that are set up in the square.
Bajra Sandhi Monument
Blue Lagoon - Snorkeling
What to Eat
Ikan Bakar Cianjur (IBC) - A restaurant that serves many traditional Indonesian dishes.  We recommend the deep fried fish dishes and the desserts
Crispy Duck – Galleria mall
Warung Babi Guling Ibu Oka  – The restaurant was extremely busy but the food was worth the wait. Babi Guling is one of the signature dishes for Indonesia so make sure to give it a try.
Street Food – Satay skewers, Rujak Salad  -  The best food I had in Bali was actually at the street vendors.
Café Moki
Anomali - Very neat coffee joint that serves breakfast
Tirtha Bridal – Beautiful place with excellent food.  We attended a wedding here but based on reviews – you can also book a dinner here.   It is known as one of the 10 destinations in the world for weddings so keep in mind it won't be cheap but the view and resort is breathtaking.
Mama San – We were not blown away by this restaurant and did not agree with the hype based on all of the reviews.  It reminded me of a slightly better PF Changs.  The prices were equivalent to any nice restaurant in Canada/US.  The restaurant is a mix of Chinese/Vietnamese/Thai cuisine.  We found that the local food was much better and much more reasonably priced. This is just my opinion – if you enjoy a nice restaurant with a cool atmosphere and fusion Asian food – you would probably enjoy this restaurant.   I’m just about the food; I have no problem paying for expensive food – I just think it should be better which I didn’t find it was for this restaurant.

Seoul, South Korea

Hotel
Westin Chosun - We really liked our hotel and the location was very close to everything. We would highly recommend it.
Travel Tips
Seoul Metro - We used it for travelling around. It was convenient - just ensure that you're getting on the proper line and direction. Listen for the stops to make any transfers. We almost missed our stops a few times.
What to Do
Myeong-dong Area - Shopping area and famous for skin products.  There are of lot of these facial shops and there are several of the same ones.
Uniqlo - Great style and good quality clothing
Changdeokgung Palace - free admission.  Have to pay to visit the secret garden.
Insadong - Cool area to walk around
Cheonggyecheon Stream
Noryangjin Fish Market - This was a very cool market to visit. Keep in mind, the seafood smell is very strong.  Apparently, you can buy the seafood and bring it to the second floor restaurants and you can pay them to cook it for you.  We had a very difficult time with communication in Seoul so we skipped doing this and just went to a seafood restaurant in Myeong-dong
Dongdaemun - Lots of shopping. There are shops that open up at 10pm and stay open until 5am.  There are approximately 22 shopping malls in this area.  A lot of the shopping was market style.  I found it over overwhelming and did not buy anything but if you're a serious shopper you should definitely check it out.
What to Eat
Bulgogi
Korean BBQ
Military or Army Stew
Street Food
Seafood – raw squid or crab
Korean dumplings

Italy

Travel Tips
Backpack versus Rolling Luggage

I did extensive research and my conclusion was to bring a backpack.  The main reasons for this were:
1) Lots of places do not have elevators.  There is a lot of cobblestone areas in Rome. There are lots of stairs in Venice.  If you are staying at a hotel that is far away from the canal, you may need to walk a fair ways to get to the hotel.
2) On several occasions, you have to walk at least a few blocks (i.e. to get to the hotel, airport, or access to a taxi
3) Rolling suitcases in Venice will be fined 500 Euro starting in May 2015
4) Certain trains may not have space for it
Conclusion: I took the backpack and it was the appropriate choice for me due to the ease of travelling to many cities in a short period of time.
Tripadvisor App
Download the Tripadvisor App onto your phone or your iPad - Make sure to download the City guides for Rome, Florence, Venice
This will download the maps on to your phone and will point you in the direction of attractions and restaurants.
You do not need data to use these city guide apps in Italy.
Cash - Euros
We found that quite a few of the smaller mom and pop places only take cash.   You can definitely get cash while you are in Italy, keep in mind it will be difficult to find a bank machine in less busy areas. Remember to keep spare change on you - you will need to pay to use the washroom in certain places.
Commuting from the airport to the city
Rome - Taxi - we stayed central so it was a set fare of 48 euros which included tax and tip.  The bus and train are cheaper but it also takes double the time and you will have to still walk to your hotel.
Florence - We took the train and were able to walk to the hotel.
Venice - We took a water bus to the canal right by our hotel. 15 euros per person
Driving versus taking the Train
We decided to drive because it allowed us to make more stops in Italy and we could go at our pace.  it allowed us to see parts of Italy that travelling on the train wouldn't allow.  If you are considering renting a car in Italy, please keep in mind that you will have to pay for gas, tolls, and if you don't have the Europe maps on your GPS, you will need to purchase it or rent it from the car rental company.  The cost for us made sense since there was two of us and I was able to borrow the Europe maps from a  friend.
Eating Times
We had to learn this the hard way; Italians eat later.  For breakfast, Italians drink coffee and have a cornetti (Italian sweet croissant) or bun.  Lunch time is before 2 pm.  If you don't grab something to eat before this time, there's a good chance you won't find anythign open especially in Venice.  Most businesses actually close down between like 1 pm and 5 pm.  Dinner time is usually later and most places open around 6 pm.  Italians eat dinner really late; if you go to a restaurant when it first opens; they'll know you're a tourist and you're probably the only ones eating at that time. The upside to eating early is that you don't usually need a reservation.

We spent two days in Rome since we had to meet up with a friend in Florence.  On hindsight, we would have preferred to stay in Rome just a little bit longer.  Rome has lots to do and the places stay open later than the other cities in Italy that we traveled to.  We are fast travelers and we didn't feel rushed in the two days we had and we saw everything we wanted to see but it would have been nice to have a free day to go explore Rome.   One day of travel with us is probably equivalent to two or three days for the average traveler.
Hotel
Hotel Raphael - Good location; everything is within walking distance
What to Do
Pantheon - Free
Colosseum - MUST SEE - We didn't buy tickets in advance, the cost is 12 Euros.  We got there early in the winter, during the slow season, the lineup was already a few hundred people. We joined a tour group for 25 euros to jump the line and left the tour group once inside.  The tour includes the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Roman Forum. It is worth the 13 Euros/person to save a few hours of lining up.
Palatine Hill
Roman Forum
Spanish Steps - we enjoyed seeing this during the day & night
Piazza Navona
Trevi Fountain - It was under construction and we were there in January of 2015
Key hole - We did this, I wouldn't recommend it just because it was a pretty far walk to look through a keyhole. It just wasn't our thing.
What to Eat
0.75 - zerosettantacinque - Caprese Salad
Gelateria ai Cerchi - Dark chocolate gelato
Tazzo D'Oro Coffee Shop - Espresso
Gelateria Corona - Random find (food tours stopped here) - pistachio gelato
Baguetteria del Fico - Cute place, craft beers, plate of meat and sandwiches

Vatican City

What to Do
This is a must see when visiting Rome.  It is an amazing experience and I believe there is something here for everyone.
St. Peter's Square (Piazza San Pietro)
St. Peter's Basilica - MUST SEE = Free - we got there at 8:15am and we lined up about 20 minutes to get in. It opens at 8:30am.
Sistine Chapel & Vatican Museums - MUST SEE - The Sistine Chapel is incredible, my favourite part of Rome. You can't take pictures; don't try to sneak one, they will kick you out. We didn't buy tickets in advance, it costs 20 Euros for entry.  We got there early in the morning in the winter, during the slow season, the lineup was already about five hundred people. We joined a tour group for 33 euros to jump the line and then we just left the tour group and did our own tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel.  It was well worth the 13 Euros to save a few hours of lining up.

Florence (Firenze)

We were here for two nights and that was enough for us to see everything.  Florence is definitely a more relaxed vibe than Rome.  The places do close earlier but you can still find things to do later at night but most things are closed by 10 pm.   Just keep that in mind when you're planning your day.
Hotel
NH Collection Firenze Porta - good location/breakfast,  smaller rooms

Pisa

Leaning Tower of Pisa
I would recommend coming to Pisa for the tower as a day trip; there really wasn't much to do in the town.
2015

Cinque Terre

We stayed one night in Monterosso, you can do a day trip but the food here is amazing.  You should try to spend one night here to explore and not have to rush through the 5 villages.  It is possible to hike through all the 5 villages during the day.  Unfortunately, 2 of the hike trails were closed while we were there so we took the train to the 5 villages instead (took about 3 hours). The all day pass was about 12 euros and includes wifi at the train station.
The five villages are:
Monterosso al Mare - Largest village, most hotels
Riomaggiore
Manarola
Corniglia
Vernazza
What to Do
This was an amazing seafood risotto we had in Monterosso al Mare.  Unfortunately, we don't remember the name of the restaurant, we got the recommendation from the Hotel Spiagga owner.  This restaurant also had the best pesto spaghetti that I've ever had.
2015

Venice (Venezia)

We stayed here for three days and that was way too long. We wouldn't recommend staying in Venice for more than two days, we found ourselves continuously walking through the same squares and got quite bored since everything seemed to close a lot earlier here than further south of Italy.
Hotel
NH Collection Venezia Palazzo - central location, spacious room for Italy, good breakfast
What to Do
Rialto Bridge
Rialto Market
Saint Mark's Basilica (Basilica di San Marco)
St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco)
Campanile di San Marco
Gallerie dell' Accademia
Shops here close at 7:30pm
Canal boat ride - I didn't really want to do this once I saw what the experience would be like; it was not like the movies, there's tons of people and you have to spend an hour on this boat.  We tried to do a short ride since it was freezing out and they wouldn't agree to it so we decided to pass.  This just wasn't our thing but if you're a romantic; go for it.
What to Eat
Dal Moro's - Fresh Pasta To Go - very fresh pasta - we enjoyed the tomato based sauce, pesto was good but very heavy
Al Vaporetto - open late, decent food, black squid ink pasta
Grom Gelato
A Beccafico - fried seafood dish

Bangkok, Thailand

Lebua Hotel
Rooms were large, service was excellent, breakfast buffet was fantastic.  We would stay here again.
Sky Bar
This was the bar that was in Hangover 2.  I wouldn't recommend it due to the long wait, the bar is really small, people fit in like sardines and it is so packed that the hotel doesn't allow pictures.  We were staying at the hotel so we didn't have to deal with the line.

We stayed three days in KL and there wasn't a lot to do so we would recommend two days.

Vietnam

Our trip was a little over 2 weeks.  We did a tour of North to South Vietnam for 10 days.  On hindsight, the tour was a few days too long, seven days would have been perfect; we could have skipped half the temples we visited.   We also spent five days with family so we would recommend at least to visit North to South Vietnam.  We would recommend flying (prices are very reasonable) over train and buses.
Ho Chi Minh City
Cu Chi Tunnels
Giac Lam Pagoda - oldest Temple
Ben Thanh Market - very touristy, if you want to buy items, it'll most likely be cheaper at the other markets that aren't as busy.
Xa Loi Pagoda - largest Temple
The Independence Palace - learn some history but the information should be digested with a grain of salt.
Signature Dish - Pho
What to Eat
Com Nieu Sai Gon - Good seafood, Anthony Bourdain recommendation
Ben Thanh Market - Che Place (Vietnamese Dessert)
Street Vendors - Pho, Bun Bo Hue, Spring Rolls
Nha Hang Ngon - Spring Rolls are a must!  The owner of this restaurant hired all of his favourite street food stalls in Saigon and started this restaurant. We didn't have one bad dish at this restaurant.  If you're feeling adventurous and try new food; this would be the place.   This restaurant was always packed. We came back here on our second trip to Vietnam a year later.
Da Nang
Doc Let Park Beach
Beaches
Signature Dishes - Seafood, if you're around a beach; order the seafood; it can't get any fresher than that
Hoi An
This place is knowned for making customized suits and clothing.  You should plan to stay for two nights if you want to get clothing made. This is the first thing you should do when you get to this place. This was our favourite place to visit in Vietnam.  We will definitely come here to visit again one day.
Thien Mu Pagoda
Cau Pagoda
Lattern Streets
Chill out and people watch along the water

Hue
Ho Chi Minh Palace/Museum
One Pillar Pagoda
Tu Duc Tombs
Perfume River
Signature Dish - Bun Bo Hue

Can Tho
Tour of the Four Islands
MeKong Delta
Floating Market
Nha Trang
Diamond Bay Resort
Vinpearl Amusement Park - it's alright if you have kids; I wouldn't go out of my way for this.
Da Lat
Embroidery Gallery
Truc Lam Pagoda
Waterfall
Markets - stuff was cheaper here than other parts of Vietnam
Hanoi
Ha Long bay
Yen Tu Mountain
Hoa Yen Pagoda
Tuan Chau Island
Bai Dinh Pagoda
Trinh Temple
Tran Temple
Khong Palace
Dark/Light Caves
Signature Dish - Pho - it is different here (no veggies and herbs); the common westernized version of pho is from the Southern region. They also have Bun Cha Ca - Noodle soup with fish cakes which I quite enjoy.

Hong Kong, China

Travel Tips
Use the subway system; get an octopus card and put a few hundred HKD on it at the airport.  It was easy to get around.

Beijing, China

Travel Tips
We traveled to Beijing, China back in 2008 after the Olympics and we had a very difficult time trying to find anyone that spoke English.  The only people that spoke English was at our hotel and the tour guide.   If you plan on cabbing anywhere in Beijing, make sure to have the location of where you would like to go written out in Chinese; your cab driver will very likely not speak English.  If you are close to the tourist attraction (within 2 km) and you plan on taking a cab; keep in mind that some cab drivers will refuse to take you since it is so close and they don't want to deal with the traffic congestion. This did happen to us and the cab driver refused to drive us so we walked instead.
What to Do
Forbidden City - its really busy (busloads of tourist).  Check the schedule they usually close it one day a week to film shows and movies there.
Tian An Men Square
Great Wall - MUST SEE - splurge and go on the non-busy tour or else you'll be there with hundreds of people.  Remember to bring good footwear; it's quite the hike.
Sacred Way
Ming Tomb
Beihei Park
Temple of Heaven
Summer Palace
Wangfujing Street - This is where one of the famous Peking Duck restaurants is.
Yashou Market
Donghuamen Night Market - Lots of interesting food stalls. We saw a lot of grilled insects.
